Business Mission to Tianjin & Guangzhou, China

West Midlands companies can take advantage of a subsidised business mission to Tianjin & Guangzhou, China. The mission will run from 24th September to 1st October 2016.

The package includes 2 days in Tianjin (the port city for Beijing) and two days in Guangzhou where bespoke business to business meetings will be organised. The mission is organised in conjunction with NDRC, the Chinese national Economic Development Agency.

Jaguar Land Rover may have to live with Evoque ‘copycat’

Jaguar Land Rover may have to grin and bear an alleged Chinese copycat of its best-selling Evoque model.

Covpress’ £300m Chinese venture launches

A £300 million factory which aims to become the “best press-shop in the world” was launched in China today – thanks to Coventry engineering expertise.

The wraps were finally taken off the new automotive parts factory at Dongying, in Shandong province in Northern China, following a £30 million buyout of long-established Canley body parts supplier Covpress. To read more click here
